Ce mardi 31 octobre est donnée la Suite en trois mouvements pour flûte et piano opus 64 de Cyril Bradley Rootham par James Dutton (flûte) et Oliver Davis (piano), à la Guard’s Chapel de Londres.
Une œuvre dédiée au flûtiste français Louis Fleury et dont j’ai eu le plaisir de graver une version moderne (et sans erreurs !) de la partition. Cette pièce sera pour la première fois enregistrée en vue d’un disque à paraître en 2018 par le label MPR. Bravo au producteur Mike Purton et aux interprètes pour cette initiative !

On Tuesday, October 31st is given the Suite in three movements for flute and piano opus 64 of Cyril Bradley Rootham by James Dutton (flute) and Oliver Davis (piano), in the Guard’s Chapel of London.
A work dedicated to the french flautist Louis Fleury and whose pleasure I had to engrave a modern version (and without errors!) of the score. This piece will be recorded for the first time on a disc to be scheduled for release in 2018 by the label MPR. Bravo to the producer Mike Purton and to the interpreters for this initiative!
